Biography

Daniel is a Mexican artist born in 1982 and is a graduate of the Faculty of Plastic Arts at the Universidad Veracruzana. While initially immersing himself in the world of Mexican engraving, he has explored various artistic expressions such as drawing, painting, video, and publishing throughout his career.

His works, full of anthropomorphic figures, masterfully capture the rich palette of emotions of contemporary society and accompany much of his work, adapting fluently to different sizes, materials and formats. Daniel seeks to delve into the arts and communications, exploring how to create visual narratives infused with symbolism. Fusing elements of contemporary pop culture with a traditional and modern approach, his work reflects his ability to communicate globally. He uses elements of daily life and creates organic doodles, where he represents bonds of the artist’s ideas and daily life.

Daniel’s works have been presented at both national and international events, including Christie’s “Multiplied, contemporary editions Fair” in London and Zona Maco in Mexico City, and have found homes in collections around the world in New York and Boston to London, Mexico, Norway, Tokyo and San Francisco, to name a few.
